Synopsis
Grey wakes in a strange concrete hall where everyone walks an endless line. A narrator dictates his life, insisting that walking is the only option. But when Grey makes a forbidden decision, his reality begins to fracture, revealing who the narrator truly is.
WHY I'M MAKING THIS
I’m making The Industrial Human Line because I’m interested in the systems we learn to obey without questioning them.
The film began with a simple image: a man waking up in a concrete hall and discovering that everyone around him is walking in the same endless line. No one seems to know where it leads. They only know that they are supposed to keep moving.
For me, that image became a way of exploring conformity, fear, identity, and the moment a person begins to wonder whether the path they have been following was ever truly their own.
I want to make a film that feels strange, darkly funny, unsettling, and deeply human. A world governed by absurd rules, but one that still feels uncomfortably familiar.
